Jordan Battle should be a starting safety. Last year he was the 4th highest graded strong safety in the NFL at 79.4 and was the highest graded rookie safety since Derwin James in 2018. It’s not his fault that the coaching staff can’t see he is great. How do you play like 9 games make the All Rookie team an have 74 tackle in 9 fucking games how does he get benched??

I’ve got video of Chase power cleening 325 lbs. Steve smith is 5’9’’. Do you know how long that took me to look up? 3 seconds. Jamar Chase is 6 3/8’’ and Steve Smith is exactly 5’9’’. So Chase is close to 4 inches taller than Steve Smith. Chase is faster than Steve Smith was too. Chase is faster and more explosive than Steve Smith was.

Yea Chase is about 210 now. Burrow looks to be closer to 230. I would say 227.

i dont really care about any of this until they get Chase signed sealed and delivered. He is the most important Bengal not named Burrow. I hope Burrow will be a full go for fall camp before the season. Perhaps the fact it was a ligament its the same deal as Brock Purdy last year. They did not know if he would be 100% to start the season but as it turned out he was fine. i just dont want to see Burrow go through another fall camp injured or recovering from an injury and not fully healthy into the season. Last year it was the calf and it showed he was not healthy to begin the season . He probably should not have played the first 2 games given the way the Bengals played.

I doubt Burrow has an issue with the wrist. If he did have something going on I don’t think he would throw at all. He may have another issue that is minor and not at risk of major injury.

Where does Josh Newton fit into this CB room is he fighting for the other starting position?

Tee Higgins is hurting himself with not being here after the year he had last season he should be trying to have a career year to prove that he is worth what he’s demanding. I believe he is Very talented but his numbers don’t match the money he is asking for period. He has had 2 seasons barely over 1,000 yds he is not JJetta again whether he is here or not he is only hurting himself his agents don’t care they just want biggest numbers possible

You guys... really, everybody praises Battle for his play last year. He did OKAY. But, he took horrible angles trying to make tackles OFTEN! Nobody has pointed it out this off-season. Did yall forget that? I've been waiting to hear a podcast point out why Jordan might not be up there with Bell. I submit... that is why. Please address this in the near future.

It’s fairly simple as to why Ja’Marr isn’t full go. The others have been there weeks prior and have their legs fully under them. You don’t just throw him out there doing everything everyone else is who have been there longer

DJ Ivey will start on the PUP list. We have 4 safety’s. Bell, Stone. Battle, Anderson. The 7th round pick from Ole Miss is not going to make the team unless Tycen Anderson starts on the PUP list. Tycen Anderson is by far the best athlete they have at safety. He is bigger and faster than every other safety on the team. AND they traded up in the draft to take Anderson. Anderson is making the team.

The WRs we are rolling with this year are going to be 1. Chase 2. Higgins 3. Burton 4. Irwin 5. Iosivas 6. Jones. If they keep 7 I would keep Shedrick Jackson or Kendric Pryor.

Shedrick Jackson is one of the fastest guys in the NFL. He ran a 4.25 at Auburn.

The Bengals need to stop drafting people and changing their position to something he never played. Dax Hill for 3 years at Michigan did not play Free safety. He played nickel almost exclusively his 3rd year at Michigan and played some Strong Safety like a box safety, nickel, and some outside CB his first 2 years at Michigan. Dax is an Elite nickel CB. We already have an Elite nickel on the team. Mike Hilton but this is his last year. I would cut Jalen Davis and resign him to the practice squad. Dax Hill is a far better player than Jalen is. He is also bigger and faster than Jalen and Mike Hilton for that matter. And if Dax Hill beats out DJ Turner then next year we will either start DJ at nickel or Dax and put DJ back at CB. I don’t think they should do this though. You want to give a guy a position to play full Time. They are in the verge of fucking Dax Hill up and if they do that that’s unacceptable. I would start DJ Turner at outside CB the position he is comfortable with the position he played in college. And next year Dax would be my starting nickel. It’s truly a god damned shame that Dax and Jordan Battle won’t be starting this year. Jordan Battle is a better player than Von Bell is in every way. He should not have been benched. That is fucked up. I hope they don’t ruin him too. If the Bengals doesn’t have st least a top 12 or 13 defense this year then coach Lou has to go. That was fucked up last year. And it’s the coaching staff and ownerships fault. They were the geniuses who thought starting 2 rookie safeties a rookie CB and another 2nd year CB all at the same time. Sure let’s do it what could go wrong. We did not have a talent problem last year. We had a coaching problem period full stop.

Dax Hill weighs 12 pounds more than DJ Turner. He isn’t much bigger. Hill is 6’ 192 and Turner is 6’ 180 lbs. Dax Hill needs to be the backup nickel this year and Jalen Davis needs to go bye bye. And Jordan Battle was the 4th highest graded safety in the NFL last year and the highest graded rookie since Derwin James in 2018. Bell is good for communication and leadership reasons. The only reason he is on the team is because they got him for league minimum this year. Last year Jordan Battle graded higher than Von Bell has his entire career!

Dude Steve Smith is 5’9’’ 195 lbs. He was measured at the combine and is exactly 5’9’’and weighed 184 when he tested but was listed as 195 when he got to the Panthers. So 5’9’’ 195 vs Chase at 6’ 201. Chase is 6’3/8’’ tall and was 201 at the Combine and pro day. So he is closer to 6’1’’ with cleets on and I think he has put on even more muscle this off season. I think he is closer to 210 now. He is 6’ 209 is what I will say. So 5’9’’ 195 vs 6’ 209

What he trying saying when speaking for Joe on the injuries; these things you can't predict. This isn't some fantasy, video game, or something you can not just say it won't happen being injured because we just don't know..in order to play the game it's focus , strength , health, rest, studying and eating right/ studying the game plan and what's ahead of now. Because 1 day those injuries can be a certain injury which end everything or career...it's alot to deal with and think about including the game. If you love football some of want it for ever. But that's a dream some of don't get to continue or live to be. It's why honor the ones that step on the trenches on the field because if they play for the love of the game. Not because of the money over your health. Your family and children , my kids need me just like every man in the nfl that step on the field that is parent would do for they children..they would choose they life for the ones that love them they children! If it was to stop balling. Then that's what it means for every man that balling on the field that for they kids...it's important..
